What You Will Do

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Financial and Office Administrator.

The Financial and Office Administrator will manage and control the financial aspects of the business. As our business has grown it has become essential to streamline our financial and accounting processes in order to scale and provide seamless billing experiences for our clients. Another key part of the role is around ensuring sound accounting practices, good corporate governance and accurate reporting for management and shareholders.

We’re ready to take our business to our next level from a finance perspective and we need our financial administrator to assist the financial manager to reach our goals as the business grows.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Debtors functions: Invoicing and statements, allocation of debtors’ receipts, debt collection, updating and reconciliation of debtor accounts and handling of queries.
  • Creditors functions: Creditor reconciliations and ensuring all bills are paid timeously
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts
  • Working closely with Sales and Customer Success for new clients, cancellations and Hubspot queries
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register – Registering new assets and running of monthly depreciation
  • Assisting the Office Manager with loading client information into Xero, Netcash and Paycycle
  • Design, implementation and improvement of internal financial controls
    Ensuring all controls within finance are appropriate and followed consistently
  • Administrative – tending to ad hoc office admin requirements
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Possesses The Following Qualities
  • B.Com in Accounting or equivalent
  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent skills in excel required (preferred Pivot tables and advanced formulas)
  • Knowledge of Xero preferred
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
