The Financial Manager will manage and control the financial aspects of the business. As our business has grown it has become essential to streamline our financial and accounting processes in order to scale and provide seamless billing experiences for our clients. Another key part of the role is around ensuring sound accounting practices, good corporate governance and accurate reporting for management and shareholders.

We’re ready to take our business to our next level from a finance perspective and we need our financial manager to spear hear these efforts as the business grows.

• Supervising the preparation and execution of our month-end billing processes
• Constant interaction with sales, onboarding and account management teams to ensure clients are billed correctly
• Client-facing interactions for accounts-related queries and debt collection
• Manage business budgets and be responsible for loading payments to our online banking
• Be the contact point to our accounting firm, to ensure accurate management accounts, tax calculations and AFS
• Be responsible for the collection and upload of all invoices for sound record keeping
• Administration of CIPC and SARS compliance
• Payroll and leave management
• Onboarding and off-boarding of new and outgoing staff
• Proactive efforts towards refining the above processes with the aim of streamline our business

• Prior accounting/book-keeping experience
• Qualified CA preferred, but not mandatory
• Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Engaging personality with strong communication skills and EQ
